But one big thing is his point that the players should be pracatising all year, not just before the tournament. But in the end that comes down to club vs country - probably not many of our pelanty takers will be their club taker. And most clubs will hardly ever be involved on a shoot-out. So are they going to ant to give up training time to have the England pelanty takers doing this every week? Probably not.

Whereas being England's pelanty taker was by far Wilkinson's most important job (and likewise for his club team, when he played for them). So of course he practised not-stop.
