Despite my moaning about Hughton on here I will concede that

There have been some promising signs of late.

The old conservative demons have still crept in which I think cost us at Cardiff and West Ham but yesterday he did appear to have learnt that defending a lead/scoreline can be easier if you retain some attacking threat yourself. IF that continues and IF we keep playing like we have done since that Newcastle horror show then even a grumpy old moaner like me may come round because that's really all any of us want - to see our team playing to its potential, regardless of who they are managed by (except perhaps Roeder).
