I agree to a degree but what is so frustrating

Is that the person at the club with the biggest belief in this glass ceiling is the manager and his team selections and tactics continually reflect this.

I honestly think that if we were in this position in the league but playing well and positively and giving it our best shot then the vast majority of fans would accept that. We are no naive. We know that there are 6 or 7 teams in this league who we can't compete with financially and therefore over the course of a season will almost certainly finish above us. We are Norwich fans, we don;t expect to win every week, especially away at the likes of Liverpool. But until this recent regime i think that most of us still believe that on our day we are capable of winning at these places or at least ruffle a few feathers. Hughton does not believe that.

We need a manager with more self belief and a bit of mongrel in him. i previously would not have been keen on Neil Lennon but maybe he's the type of character with a bit of a hard edge and fighting spirit that we need. It is notable that celtic have perfomed quite well against the top teams in the champions league and on several occasions after narrow defeats to those teams he has been angry at the fact his team has lost because he believed they could win. We probably could not get him now we are almost certainly resigned to a relegation battle this season.
