Wrath Sky+ advice needed.

Sky just told me my hardware is out of guarantee.
They want to charge me ?100 a year to cove the dish and hardware. Sounds expensive.
Does anyone else do this. Or just pay for it if it breaks?

I hate product insurance. Always seems over-priced.
