Do any of you lot actually KNOW the rules of football?

I've read alot that the ref didn't need to blow his whistle for the throw in.....but wasn't the game stopped for an injury? In which case presumably he DID need to blow the whistle?

I don't know the rules by the way, just surprised how certain the people who actually wanted us to score via that disgraceful means are.
