Ludicrous

even Mourinho and all Abramovitch's money couldn't get us into the play-offs from here. The very best we can hope for is that the new manager is appointed soon and we go on a decent run. That way optimism will be high for next season and we may not lose all our best players, and the collapse in season ticket sales will not be too catastrophic.
It's difficult to know how much worse things will actually have to get before the board act. If they leave it until after the January transfer window then I suspect that relegation will be certain. And then Mr Harry Helveg can come on here and tell us all how good things really are.
