eBay question

So I sold a coat as very good condition ( which it was) and the buyer has opened a case saying its not very good condition and I advertised it wrong. She says there is Staines and dirty marks on it which is untrue so I refused a refund. He has taken it to eBay to decide, there was only one photo that I used to sell the coat and it looks very good as it genuinely was very good. Any one ever had a case against them? What happened and do eBay protect the seller as well as the buyer?

Thanks
