I like Fox

But hes as weak physically, if not more so, than Howson. Remember the ease with which he was dispossessed for Liverpools first last season at home. It was criminal and Lambert pretty much abandoned him for the rest of the season.
I think the Tettey and Pilks injuries have been crucial. Pilks makes great forward runs and Tettey was v solid. Coupled with Holt and Wes losing form its seen us become so toothless. In centre mid our onlt other option is korey as hes quick, relentless and stronger than Howson or fox, but as we saw his lack of creative passing was too much of a liability in the champ so rhats why we've ended up in this mess. Not enough quality in squad despite the numbers.
