I think he's a delightful person

But with a squad of marginally talented Premier League players he has instilled the exactly wrong mindset. With the less talented in any walk of life, you have to motivate by being relentlessly positive.
The tactics alone he chooses suggest to the players that they are not good enough and that expectation is unfortunately being played out.
