We turned up late for our game at Villa Park that day. Pissed as c**ts.

We weren't alone. We were directed calmly into the Holte End and were directed and escorted by West Midlands coppers down to the front of the stand where there was loads of room, away from were we were trying to get to.

Football fans turned up late, pissed and without tickets al the time then. We were managed properly, tragically the Liverpool fans weren't.

That aside, even if as some seem desperate to believe, there were hordes of drunk Liverpool fans charging into the back of the Leppings Lane end, rathe than fans wanting to get in to see their team, who caused the problem, is it still OK to make comments like we've seen this afternoon (again) with respect to the ones that died?

Surely after all that has come out and how the cover up has been revealed anyone can see what the truth is. Unless they choose not to for bizarre personal reasons.

We were close to a similar problem at West Ham in the quarter final on the way out in the 'chicken run', it was frightening and pure luck nobody was badly injured.
