The McManaman tackle..........

Having watched it from the view from behind it does look like he is going for the ball and it bounces up.

The reactions to the tackle have been far worse than deliberate stamps which are cold blooded.

There are tackles all the time where the players is 100% deliberately going for the leg hack with zero intention of playing the ball.
