What we'll never know is if Lambos more gung-ho attacking style would have turned a few

more draws into wins and a few more into losses with the net result being more points. Or would we have been found out and lost loads. (I don't think we'd have marched on into the Champions League, we can rule that one out.)

Nobody can know that, we don't know who he'd have bought and how we'd have played this year.

My gut feel is we'd be about where we are, but generally happier due to more shots/goals/attacking play.

I appreciate Hoots and what he's trying to do, he's doing a good job but f**k me it was a struggle to get to the Soton game in that weather, felt like tossing it off, I've not felt like that for years.

I just get through by looking at the context of where we are now, as Mick Dennis says, and how staying up is all important. So for me if we do that this season, job done, good season, and we can start afresh hopefully with a forward line Hoots rates and we can go from there.
