But I imagine he saw us as having less potential in this league compared to someone like Villa, hence why he wanted out so bad and to "further" his career.

Surely doing what he did with us wouldn't wash at his new place with much higher expectations and considerably larger resources

If he'd taken over at Villa whilst they were in LG1 then fair enough, replicate what he did with us and I'm sure he'd have gone down well with them, but that's clearly not keeping their fans happy now is it
