A few players were off the pace and we missed Holt, as usual.

That's my interpretation of it. And I was impressed with Steve Clarke's tactics - he saw we weren't a threat on the break and threw strikers on. Hoots didn't respond, and we were forced deep. Mind you, I can't blame Hoots entirely, because we don't have many worthwhile attacking options. I would have like to have seen EB played up with Morison (or Kane).
