We called Rooney Fat, their press officer decided it was 'black' and went to the press about it, and did an excellent job of refusing to listen to the mass of evidence that proved he was talking bollocks and continued to sully our reputation.

We as a club did what we used to do then and just let the nice big club get on with it without making a fuss.

Fuck, I'd LOVE to see what McNasty would have done, I think the gentleman would have found himself out of work at the very least.
