Spoke to my sister last night. Bizarre stuff.

She's 38 and lives in Newmarket. Last Friday she went on a blind date as she's a bit desperate and fears being left on the shelf. She's got her own property business so is successful in life just that special person is missing.

Anyway, she met this bloke at the pre-arranged place. She said that when she first clapped eyes on him she prayed that he wasn't her date as he was a scrawny little f**ker but it turned out he was, but against her best instincts she went ahead.

She insisted that they went to a busy place as she didn't trust the look of him, kept an eye on him for any Rohypnol being added to her drinks, not that he went to the bar anyway tight little sod apparently.

She was watching the clock as all he could talk about was Chelsea and lego. When they 'coincidentally' bumped in to some old slapper he knew with her dopey Welsh boyfriend.

The rest of the evening became an attempt by her date and this other woman for them all to go back to this woman's house together for a bit of swinging.

My sister made her excuses and left. As she said to me "I'm not that desperate."
