Reading the Hillsborough stuff for me there are 2 or three separate issues

1. The police and ambulance cover up was a disgrace and should be exposed;

2. The coroners decision appears dubious and the victims of the families do deserve to know if any of them died as a result of negligence.

3. however I see the above two points as distinct from the question of what was the cause or who was to blame for the whole tragedy. I still believe it was a "perfect storm" caused by a variety of factors (poor policing, poor stadia, fences, some of their fans forcing their way in without tickets) so I find the statement that there is "conclusive proof" their fans were in no way to blame somewhat strange.

I just hope that some closure can be got out of all of this but given points 1 and 2 above I think it is set to rumble on for some time.
