i think people have a bad feeling about Holt perhaps

for a number of reasons:

he's a year older
concerns about fitness and weight
the transfer request has just tarnished things a bit
concerns he's lost the hunger he had last season - he's proven himself, he's got a new contract, and though england might still be a possibility there isnt an immediate tournament to aim for

now some or all of that may be bollocks but he did phenomenally well last season and while he could do it again its not something we should depend upon. Moro did quite well but possibly doesnt have the ability to push on much further and go up to the next level. jackson and martin have some talent but are still sort of unproven at this level

put me in the 'we need a striker' camp. i'm sure we'll get one but no idea who
