Am I alone in being slightly disappointed at the suggestion that we have dropped our interest in him on the basis that we have signed a player who is "like Johnson but without the same range of passing?"

I just hope if we dont sign him it's because we can't afford him and have been gazumped by a much bigger club (ie not someone like Southampton) and not because we have chosen not to pursue things.

I also hope Hoot is playing down Tetley and he turns out to be the ball winner we all know we need.
