We had a Fabrice Muamba moment in our American Football game yesterday. Opposition player
we all know well collapsed at the final whistle and had a heart attack. One of our players, a paramedic, had just had a resuscitation course on Monday immediately had to put it into action. Police and Ambulance were there within 10 minutes.
Sadly Jos, aged only 29, didn't make it and he died on the field.
Absolutely shocked. Does anybody know anything about this heart screening thing which was talked about post-Muamba which I seem to remember somebody claim costs only 30 quid per player ? The research I've done shows costs of $1000 US.
