Regardless of what had happened before we are 8th in the league. If we are 16th after three years of premiership football would we have the same thing?

We probably won't get much higher than this and this was a real chance to get to Wembley and for once we screwed up big time. Had we lost with a full team I would have no complaints. I bet McNastly and Lambert are praying Leicester get Man Utd away today.

Regarding players I don't see what all the negative talk is about Morison, I think he has been excellent this year, especially away from home. I do however worry that Russell Martin has totally forgot how to play right back - without Naughton that is our number one position to strengthen next year. I would expect Martin and Barnett to be looking for new clubs come July.
