...but I don't have a clue what he gets up to in his time away from the BBC..I suspect he's probably a very busy chap...

I also assume that there is a formula that everyone works to on MoTD and he and everyone else works to that which probably means less time to talk about and/or watch other games because they have a programme to make in the most time and cost efficient way possible...

If I'm wrong so be it but I do think it is worth considering the possibility that he has other things to do with his day than sit in the MoTD studios...
