People often tend to forget that he spent the best part of five seasons dealing with 2 on 1's, game in game out. Tierney's far better going forward but not as good defensively so I wouldn't say he was easily replaced then, when we had Bertrand Drury was often out injured anyway and we had to look at different options. You have to respect anybody who has played near 350 games for the club while achieving so much.
