ATTN: Non football related post. This is a messidge about moustacheses.

Thank you so very much to all of those from off of on of out of here who have supported me whilst growing some facial hair for charidee, your generosity has been... well, quite frankly overwhelming. I won't embarrass those individuals who kindly donated, because I'll only go and forget someone, and upset them!

My whole motivation behind doing Movember was simply because my Dad died from prostate cancer on 6th December last year. He was a huge City fan, and was the one person who ignited my passion and love for NCFC. Such a shame he's not around for our Premier League adventures, but know that together with Roy Waller, they'll probably be giving a guiding hand from beyond!!

Anyhoo, my bit for Movember was for my Dad. If more of us men understand the dangers of prostate cancer, if more of us can recognise the symptoms of prostate cancer early enough, if more of us men confront the issue and seek treatments early enough, it will stand us in better stead to overcome the biggest cancer killer of men.

This hasn't just been about raising some money into cancer research (although every little helps User Posted Link ;{), this for me has been about raising the awareness of mens health issues. Women are regularly given breast and cervical screenings, but not a lot is done for us fellas.

About time it was!
