I think megson's suggestion that ruddy isn't good enough to play for england

was intended to be an absolute one, rather than a relative one - ie, something like - "as an England fan, I wouldn't be comfortable seeing Ruddy in goal for them".

Of course, may well be that there's no-one other than Hart who's good enough. Nonetheless, for me at least, this makes it hard for me to feel particularly upset about Ruddy not getting a call-up.
