Good site but I' not a fan of the chalkboard stuff that started in the Guardian.

It may tell the picture of a game in cold hard stats but the beauty of football is it's sheer unpredictability and that unquantifiable moment of skill/horrendous clanger that can win a game.

It's the beautiful game, aesthetically so much more pleasing to watch than rugby for example, a game which lends itself to statistical analysis more readily.

To much stattoisificationing takes the fun out of it for me.

There I've said it.
