Interesting on the Subs. I think the point of Jackson was to get in behind 2 CB's on
Yellows, and pin them back a little with pace. We kept hitting it too central though so he had to challenge for it in the air, which he'd never win. Needed to be into the corners where the Full backs had pressed on
Got a chance then of pulling the full backs back too, lessen the pressure on us. Didn't work though.
Agree on holt. Dead on his feet. Which is what I said i wanted to see after the red. I'd have taken him off. Maybe. That's a huge call though cause he can still win those pressure relieving free kicks.
Surman, he's left sided isn't he and that's were he went so makes sense. Him and Crofts both culpable in the goal though, sucked into the box the pair, leaving far too much space on the edge for the cross.
Wes may well have worked instead of Jackson for Martin.
