Hearts Were Truly Woeful
I think a half decent League 1 side-Huddersfield, Charlton, Sheff Utd-would have given Tottenham a better game last night.
It was so one sided I felt like I was watching a car crash for much of the game-it had that compelling thing about it, wanting to watch it but thinking, maybe, I should turn off as it was so embarassing.
I think back to the Euro clashes that clubs like Leeds had with Scottish clubs in the 60's and 70's when, as talented and powerful as they were at the time, teams up there like Dundee United and Kilmarnock more than gave them a game and it was anyones over the two legs.
And Hearts are meant to be the "third" club in Scotland?
