Would have loved him back here, think he would have been agreeable to it as well.

Blackburn would probably blown us out of the water with terms of the fee or the wages they could pay if it did come down to a 'bidding war' between us mind.

Plus we are building for the next few years which includes. much as we don't want it to happen and will strive to see that it doesn't, relegation this season.

So the players we are signing are those which might be happy to still be with us next season should the worse happen-and Lansbury might have been a "sorry but I need to be playing in the Prem" player and wanted out.

But wish him well-good player, could be a very good one and seemed a decent enough lad. Started his career with us as well of course-one that got away!
