Hugh, Come ON!!

This isn't political.

Blaming the Tories is a convenient crutch for the violence-but it isn't the reason for what has happened.
Most of the areas of London that have been affected have Labour MP's and Labour ran Councils, the latter in particular which control much of policy in those areas-so it would be just as easy to say its down to the voters in those areas for voting Labour-but it isn't about that either.

Its about the need for a complete and radical review of the political, economic and social infrastructure of the nation and, as such, goes way, way above anything so simple as blaming one person, party or policy.

Its about society and the need for change, the nation has repeatedly adapted and changed when necessary, yet, for about 50 years now, change has been resisted and held back. Thats where the problem lies-stagnation leads to violence in a system that has stood still for too long and decayed under myriad Governments and political parties.
