I don't think their fans do themselves any favours

I always get the feeling underneath, they like being the fashionable football factory or green street bad boys, of which their rivals are condemned for mostly (by them at the same time)

The media join in with it too. I remember Mark Bright making a clear point about when they played Millwall, that no west hams were involved, it was just Millwall

Well that lit the switchboard up, mainly because it wasn't true, and mainly because many real West Ham fans were even ringing in to say it was disgusting, and it was both sides, and that they left after 40 minutes because it wasn't about football

I think as a club, they hold the likeable line well. But I think the reality of that, is just a fantasy drawn up by match of the day
