Imagine this. Cardiff draw. We're winning by a goal at half time
This would leave us 3 points ahead of Cardiff and equal on goal difference.
However, equal on goal difference effectively means behind since the only time it would come into play would be if we lost and Cardiff won on final day which would of course mean overhauling us on goal difference.
Do you shut up shop and play on the break, or attack like mad to improve the goal difference ?
