And when there are 000's of empty seats at certain events, and I've picked hockey as there will be upwards of 500,000 seats available, how can they not afford to sell tickets to those that have not applied up to 15 months in advance?

I think it's all a huge panic scam, get loads of cash in to pay for tickets for the Olympics that the country now cannot afford.

Of course certain events will be premium where it makes sense to apply early and weekend tickets will be more popular but the majority of events where people want to go for the ?Olympic Experience? will be freely available.

To be honest whoever did the marketing for this deserves a gold medal (apols)
