Its Getting All Too Much...

You know, I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it all as much as I should!

Two wins away from a return to the Premier League, a great team, players, winning and scoring freely, a Manager as good as we'll ever have, all the last second excitement and epic moments a'plenty....

And, whatever happens, we'll look back on this and last season with eyes misting over for years to come.

My current book is a retrospective of that 1992-94 period with player interviews and other stuff of that nature but I think that, in a decade or so, someone will be doing the same about the 2009-11. Its astonishing.

But feck me backwards, the mixture of excitement, dread, tension, that feeling when your heart drops to the soles of your feet, then those when it explodes out of the top of your head-this season, last season, plus plenty of despair in the two seasons before that....I am wishing now for a season of mid-table mediocrity and all the calm and stress free Saturday afternoons and weekday evenings it brings...

Great days. But bloody hell, bloody hell...
