My day yesterday . . . still cant believe it
had a bbq and drinks in the park a bit of cricket, then off down riverside to lloyds for the main event. a good atmosphere in lloyds before the game with a bit of optimism, the a 6 o clock train to scum.
I got off the train singing super grant holt, and the nice suffolk policeman had the cheek to ask me if i was norwich or ipswich!
Station hotel was brilliant, like the good ol' days of the nineties! I think the drink helped everyone get in a god mood, ipswich fans blocked portman road and the away turnstiles so we actually missed the first goal, but was a surreal moment cheering a goal standing on portman road, got in for the second and the rest.
Did anyone get back in Lloyds in norwich last night, we got in about 11ish and they were playing wesley hoolahan hoolahan wesley hoolahan among other tunes. I have never seen Lloyds like that after a game the place was buzzing and just going off! ended up hitting the city and Kafe Karma, a quality night spent with good frineds and the icing on the cake beating the scummers 5-1
WE BEAT THE SCUM 5-1!!!!!
