Premiership

Only problem is that every day I look in the papers and see poncy, overpaid, arrogant, uninterested, mercenary premiership players - and I know that although I really really want us to be promoted, nothing will be quite as good as it is now .... or maybe that's just me. Maybe it's time for a breakaway Euro league and then teams owned by Americans, managed by some self-righteous Monsieur A. Nother, and with sides made up of various globe trotting "stars" can all play each other endlessly and leave us to enjoy ourselves ....

Also, I'm increasingly furious that the papers don't seem to feature more than the odd throwaway line about the Championship: look at the gates! Look at the table! Watch a match or two! It's actually pretty good you know! Hello!?

(Could it be I'm subconsciously preparing myself not to be promoted?!)
