I suppose it's different if you have a county team, I would certainly go and watch...
That said I watch Norfolk from time to time during the summer. Sunny day, beers, picnic. Only problem is you then go out on a Saturday trying to replicate what they do and end up bowled or caught after trying a hoo har down at Cow corner. See what you mean with the crowd mind, very poor turn out. Perhaps they get more on a weekend.
