Romany and Irish travellers are both English
there aren't gypsies / travellers in the UK other than those two groups (not in any number, anyway).
So the travellers you're talking about are either Romanies, or Irish travellers. (Irish travellers don't have an Irish accent - unless they haven't been here long - that's just the ethnic group they're from.
Unless they're Romanies.)
