Lappin was my MotM.
Apart from the excellent freekicks, he was getting into the box when the ball was on the right wing, he looked to be really fit and his defensive play was very good. One thing i particularly remember was when he took a fk from a central position, the move broke down but he read the situation perfectly and was on the left wing redy to pick up the pieces and deliver a cross.
So many promising perfonces from that game - Central defence, Central midfield, Holt and Curtain. SOOO glad for Semi too - the reactions of his team mates when he scored showed what that must have meant to them all.
I must say that Paul McSmall surprised me a bit too. Great game.
We do also look quite fit. It can't have been easy out there today. I got a bit sweaty by just doing a walk down Jimmy Hill.
Keep the Goal Fests coming!
