Alnwick - 7, not at fault for either goal, did everything else fine, and held on to a shot!
Otsemobor - 7, got forward well, but the passes rarely found him. Cool header for the goal.
Askou - 7, made up for his slip for the goal by scoring a thumping header. A real threat at set pieces.
Spillane - 7, steady enough.
Drury - 7, rarely troubled and got forward well.
Lappin - 9, MotM, delivery was superb.
Smith - 8, good energy and tackling, simple passing, great goal. So much better than Darel Russell.
Hughes - 7, started most attacking moves with simple passing, and also tried some more adventurous balls. Looks neat and tidy, and a decent player at this level.
McVeigh - 8, like he'd never been away. A class act at this level. Really tried too.
Holt - 8, not Iwan...more Ashley Ward. Worked hard, great feet and two good goals. A real handful on the deck and in the air, and a good football brain.
Cureton - 7, looked interested for the first time for a long while. Sharp and lively.

Subs: (Yes, they got 30 minutes!)

Cody - 7, very sharp, nightmare to defend against as an impact sub. Set up Holt's goal and was a menace.
Adeyemi - 7, put himself about, strong and purposeful, drove forward well. Him and smith the midfield of the future.
Hoolahan - 6, frustrating. Some great skills but end product was missing.

This makes you wonder what is the point of having Theo, Nelson, Whaley, OTJ and Gill.
