I've not judged him a failure. Never seen him. Never heard of him til the squad photo.

I just think some of the players may not meet Lambert's criteria for "good enough". Those two you've mentioned might be two of them. Never seen em play so couldn't say myself. Of course he might also think they're mint and stick em straight in tomorrow!
