I'd agree with that

The only thing is that The Wire doesn't have the viewing figures. It's still more a cult programme. I also think that it doesn't have the wider appeal of something like The West Wing, or Sopranos (neither of which I've seen yet).

The Wire is far better than anything else in the 00s though
