Had to chime in here. The bloke's a top chap. Consummate pro, loves his kids, great statesman for England and who wouldn't want him on the bench for the last 20 against Argentina in 2010? Yes, he's sent the odd dodgy text but I love that stat about Becks in the Greece game that got us to the last WC.

Forgive the lazy lack of research but while the distance covered in that match by most players averaged 11km, Becks ran for something like 19km. And singlehandedly got us to Japan. Much good it did us.
