I live in hope

that one day people will vote for things beyond the greed, beyond the perceived need to keep shareholders happy, beyond the burning question as to whether a business will feel so hard put-upon about paying a reasonable amount of tax that they might move their head office out of the financial free-for-all swill that is London and beyond assuaging the needs of greedy millionaire megalomaniacs. Maybe, one day, we will vote for things we believe in and put the needs of the majority first, even if it involves not being the tax haven of choice for the vested interests of the wealthy.
