DAVE IN BLOGLAND
22/1/9
Hi and welcome to my first post in my new WOTB blog.
The news this weeks has been dominated by one issue and one issue alone - the disappearance of Gus 'Pants' Himsworth.
The most upset wotber was of course SCC who stayed up all night on Sunday to see if Pants would come back. Sellers and Charles were worried too, like children left in the nursery without their mothers for the first time.
They soon got over it of course, as news broke of a fantastic Movie XI ( User Posted Link ).
Midweek was rather boring, as the messageboard was filled with posts about Gunny becoming the new manager of NCFC, although Tomblander did start a marvelous new joke about Tennis Filters. Pants came back but couldn't get a word in edgeways, although SCC stilll managed to get a few digs in.
We also saw this week the attack on the very fabric of US society, the Hudson River. Early fingers pointed to a goose as the main culprit, although later they claimed it was a hijacking by the hitherto unknown faction of 'the compressors'. Then on Thursday came the revelation that the "Axis of geese bills" was once again being targetted by the Obama administration, and that Hong Kong was to be the target of Obama's first war. Many claimed that this was in fact an excuse to get an American share of the famous all you can eat buffet, to which Hong Kong responded by posting images of a five a-side match from 2003 and many obsessive, repetitive posts about Ian 'sixpence' Crook and Volley King Gossy.
I don't know what happened on Friday because it hasn't happened yet.
Stay tuned Dave in Bloglanders!
