Yeah, I hate Liverpool for the same reasons

But, Heysel apart, it's true of most of the big clubs: Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U - even the likes of Everton and Spurs. And England. And, to a certain extent (a bit less hysteria), the big European clubs. The media w**ks constantly about them and how great they are and how wonderful their history is and how the neutral supporter just loves to watch their lovely flowing, tactically astute football. Bollocks do we! The media is in awe of the money and personalities. Fuck 'em! I rarely watch CL football or, indeed, any football I don't really have any interest in - especially if I'm also to be patronised at the same time.
